InfoWonk is a series of niche web sites, each of which concentrates on a topic of interest to help you get up to speed quickly on a variety of topics, from professional topics like Project Management and Publishing and Writing, to consumer topics like Fireplaces and Accessories and Tools.

Expecting parents will particularly like our newest site, the Diaper Doula -- information on diapers and diapering from an objective source -- we're not trying to sell diapers! (Or, for that matter, tools, fireplace stuff, etc.)

We use professional writers who can explain the concepts and point you in the right direction, and introduce you to each field's specialized jargon. The idea is to help you get started, not overwhelm you with esoteric detail, so you don't look stupid at work or when dealing with salespeople or contractors.
